Dr. Khalid S. Soliman is Associate Professor of Management Information Systems, New York, USA who taught at the Executive, Graduate and Undergraduate levels for many years as full-time professor at Hofstra University, USA and at teaching researcher at The University of Memphis, USA. After receiving his B.Sc. in Engineering, he received his MBA in Business Administration at Murray State University, USA and his Ph.D. in Business Administration at the University of Memphis, USA. Dr. Soliman has worked and consulted for the past 25 years for several corporations in the United States and around the world. His research and consulting interest include electronic commerce, electronic services, cycle time reduction, interorganizational information systems, strategic use of information technology to transform organizations and governments, and self improvement and Organizational development.

Dr. Soliman has published more than 35 articles in refereed journal as well as national and international conference proceedings. His research has appeared in Business Process Management Journal, Communications of the AIS, Journal of Electronic Commerce in Organizations, Information & Management, Information Systems Management, International Journal for Educational Management, Issues In Supply Chain Management, Journal of Electronic Commerce in Organizations, Logistics Information Management, Journal of Management Systems, and Management Research News.

According to Google Scholar Citation count, Dr. Soliman’s published research efforts have been cited numerously in international research publications. Several of his articles received Citation of Excellence Award.

Dr. Soliman taught at the Graduate and Undergraduate levels at Hofstra University, USA and at The University of Memphis, USA. During his tenure at Hofstra University, he taught at the Executive MBA level at the InterDigital Corporate Headquarters in King of Prussia, Pennsylvania and at the American University in Cairo. Further, he taught at the Corporate MBA level at the Estée Lauder in Long Island, New York.

Dr. Soliman published research is cited numerously by other authors in leading journal such as Decision Sciences, European Journal of Operational Research, Information & Management, Industrial Management & Data Systems, Information Systems Journal, Internet Research, International Journal of E-Business Research, Journal of Database Management, Journal of Cases on Information Technology, Journal of Computer Information Systems, Journal of the Association for Information Systems, Journal of Internet Banking and Commerce, Journal of IT Standards & Standardization Research, Journal of Social Service Research, Computers in Human Behavior, and Electronic Markets.

Numerous copies of Dr. Soliman’s Ph.D. Dissertation were sold to academic institutions worldwide. Also, several permissions were granted to utilize his published research instruments.

Dr. Soliman is the editor-in-chief of Communications of the IBIMA. He was the guest editor and co-editor for a number of journal special issues: special issue of Business Process Management Journal on e-Government, special issue of Supply Chain Management: An International Journal on e-Supply Chain, and special issue of Management Research News Journal on Internet and Organizational Transformation.

Dr. Soliman has been invited as a keynote speaker at XII Congress of International Business: Business Evolution, in Monterrey Mexico. Also, he was featured in magazines such as the Economic Edge on his research with the FedEx Center for Cycle Time Research and in many newspapers in different parts of the world discussing Organizational Transformation into the digital age

Dr. Soliman is the General Conference Chair of the International Business Information Management Association (IBIMA) International Conferences during the period 2003 – 2021.

Besides his expertise in Strategic use of technology in business, Dr. Soliman is a very active Coach in the areas of human development, self-improvement, and goals setting.  He  developed and delivered self improvement and life strategies one-day seminars in the following cities in across USA:
